Bio

 Diantie PM Persaud, with over 30 years of experience, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in New York State. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from York College.

As a CPA, Diantie provides full accounting and bookkeeping services to individuals, not-for-profit organizations, start-ups and small businesses. She also specializes in helping clients who have fallen behind in their tax filings.

As a CMA, she helps businesses make tactical and operational decisions.

Experiences

♦ Create and establish bookkeeping and accounting systems for small law firms, retail companies and non-profits

♦ Mentor start-up companies

♦ Perform audits and reviews of non-profits, technology, advertising and consumer products companies

♦ Provide pro bono accounting services to Sunflower Children Foundation, a 501 © 3 humanitarian aid organization providing survival and development care to children in poor and needy regions

♦ Served as Accounting Assistant to the Chief Accountant at Arthur Andersen’s New York City Office

 

Philosophy

Diantie believes that all accountants should be financially responsible with their own money before helping other people manage their business. She is a sophisticated investor and business owner.

Giving Back to Society

Diantie works for many charities including Cause Effective, Little Baby Face Foundation, Project Renewal, Project Sunshine, Rainforest Alliance and Sunflower Children. She appeared on CBS’s “The Early Show” ringing a Cowbell to cheer for the American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation program. If you ran the Hamptons Marathon for ACS in October 2010, chances are you meet her at the registration tent.
